Donate to the Library

Guidelines for donating books & other items:

  • Donations are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm or until our storage area is full.

  • Donations may be brought to the maroon donation doors at the southwest corner of the library (nearest the parking lot). Ring the bell for assistance.

  • We gladly accept books, music CDs, DVDs, audiobooks on CD, and records. We also welcome donations of antiquarian and collectible books!

  • All donations should be in good used condition. Please recycle or discard books with stains, tears, highlighting, missing pages, and water or mold damage.

  • Please note: We do not accept textbooks older than 10 years, encyclopedia sets, cassettes, VHS tapes, or damaged books.

  • We can provide a donation receipt if desired. Please provide a count of the number of items you are donating.

  • Magazines can be brought directly to the exchange bins at the library's north entrance or to the double doors during donation hours. Magazines should be current, or no more than 6 months old.

The donation doors are located at the southwest corner of the library building.
